All the conditions were right for the quickest field ever for the first Fast 33 at the 330' race of the season. 38 cars came out to try to qualify for the Fast 33 car field and at the end of the day Jake Orman, Terre Haute, IN was the winner over Nathan Smith of Brazil, IN. Semi-finalists were Eric Bonewell of Terre Haute, IN and Tommy Smith of Brazil, IN. Nick Fair of Brownsburg, IN was the low qualifier with his 2.83 second pass at the 330".
Pro Class winner was Cody Alumbaugh of Terre Haute, IN and Justin Lourash, of Morristown, IN was runner-up. Semi-finalists were Shawn Feece and Joey Moore, both from Terre Haute, IN.
Super Pro class semi-finalists were Lee Davis and Russ Fisher, both from Terre Haute, IN. Runner-up was Joey Moore of Terre Haute, IN and Josh Rogers, of Reelsville, IN won for the second week in a row.
Sportsman class winner was Chris Walker of Paris, Il and Wayne Nelson from Spencer, IN was the runner-up. Semi-finalists were Kenny James, Terre Haute, IN and Tony Phillips of West Terre Haute, IN.
High School class winner was defending 2016 Class Champion Jacob Youngblood of Rosedale, IN with Karson Kuhn of Marshall, IL the runner-up. Caleb Ramsey from Terre Haute, IN was the semi-finalist.
Junior Dragster semi-finalist was Kaden Bouchie of Washington, IN. Runner up went to Matthew Spires of Dennison, IL and Tanner Spires, defending 2016 Class Champion from Clinton, IN was the winner of the class.
Next Friday there will be Friday Fun from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. when the Gambler Race begins. Saturday the feature race will be the Top Gun Super Pro ET Points Race along with ET Points racing for Pro, Sportsman, High School and Junior Dragsters.
