Crossroads Dragway held the second Fast 33 at the 330' of the season on Saturday, July 1st. Nathan Smith, Brazil, IN, who was the runner up in the first Fast 33 of the season, took home the win over Dehner Maurer of Pittsboro, IN. Semi-finalists were Sam Smith and Lesley Kelle, both of Terre Haute, IN.
In the Pro Class Shawn Rissler of Brazil, IN was the winner over Harold Travioli from West Terre Haute, IN. Semi-finalist was Joey Moore, of Terre Haute, IN.
Super Pro Class winner was Taylor Cook of Mason, OH over Jake Orman of Terre Haute, IN. Adam Phillips of Bruceville, IN and Randy Protz of Vandalia, IL were the semi-finalists.
Chad Eaton out of Paris, IL was the Sportsman Class winner over Jeff Vaughn of Terre Haute, IN. Brad Simpson of Clinton, IN was the semi-finalist.
High School Class winner was Karson Kuhn out of Marshall, IL over Jacob Youngblood of Rosedale, IN. Caleb Ramsey of Terre Haute, IN was the sole semi-finalist.
Matthew Spires of Dennison, IL was the winner in the Junior Dragster Class over Arie Norton of Kentland, IN. Semi finalists were Nathan Prose of Terre Haute, IN and Michael Smith of Rosedale, IN.
There will be no racing action at Crossroads Dragway the next two weekends due to the Vigo County Fair. Action will resume on Friday, July 21st with a Friday Fun Night and a PINK Ladies Series Race. On Saturday, July 22nd there will be ET Points racing for Pro, Super Pro, Sportsman and High School classes. The feature race will be the Carquest of Brazil Slammin' 16.
