RaceQuip introduces their Carbon Fiber VESTA15, dual certified Snell SA2015 and FIA 8859 helmet. The contemporary design plus modern production techniques creates a balance between light weight and affordability. It features alternating layers of hand laid Carbon Fiber and Kevlar with a uniquely shaped chin bar. Reinforced M6 threaded HANS/FHR inserts are installed along with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner. HANS/FHR device anchor posts (not included) can be attached using the installed M6 threaded inserts. The distortion free 3mm polycarbonate faceshield features a molded thumb catch, aluminum pivot kit, hand ratcheting TearOff posts, and a silicone eyeport gasket to seal out dirt. A wide eyeport provides good peripheral vision and allows the use of personal eyewear. Extra cheek pads are included to allow a customized fit. The dual certification means the Nomex® interior, Kevlar ® chin strap, and exterior paint are fire retardant so the RaceQuip VESTA15 Carbon Helmet is suitable for use in all forms of motorsports.
