Boyne City, MI, November 13th, 2017 — Classic Instruments is pleased to share its new and popular products that were recognized at the 2017 SEMA Show with several different industry awards. Its Square Body Direct-fit package for 1973-87 Chevy and GMC trucks, was recognized on multiple occasions and the company also displayed and received recognition for its new product offering of performance gauge sets. Additionally, the company showed off its popular Bel Era III direct-fit package for 1955-56 Chevys, which caught the attention of ARMO, the Automotive Restoration Market Organization.
The 1973-87 Chevy/GMC truck package was displayed in the Street Rod & Custom Car category in the New Product Showcase and took home the Best New Product Runner Up award. It also garnered a Global Media Award from Argentina; selected by a panel of international judges based on the product’s appeal to international consumers. Released just months before the SEMA show, the package has already gained traction among square body enthusiasts. The package is available in seven different Classic Instruments signature styles including a near stock OE style and features many other stock-like details.
Also recognized at SEMA, Classic Instruments now offers its full-sweep gauges in sets; complete with full-sweep auxiliary gauges, a speedometer, and tach. These are available in seven design styles and multiple size combinations. This new product offering was displayed in Classic Instruments’ AutoCross style and also captured a Global Media Award, from New Zealand, for its appeal to international consumers.
Finally, the company also displayed its popular Bel Era III direct-fit package for 1955-56 Chevy’s. Released just over a year ago, this product quickly gained the attention of many Tri-Five enthusiasts and industry professionals. The 2017 SEMA show was no exception to the positive feedback; the product took home ARMO’s 2017 New Product Award for Non-Original Interior. Available in four different colors, with optional gear indicator and clock, the package offers choices and personalization while maintaining a very stock-like style.
