FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by MaxFab will making its first stop of the 2019 season this weekend in south Georgia as the series will be returning to the Oglethorpe Speedway on Friday night June 7 and the Screven Motor Speedway on Saturday June 8. The River City Rumble will take place at the Oglethorpe Speedway with a 40 lap $4,000 to win event and then at the Screven Motor Speedway the 1st Annual Summer Meltdown will take place with $10,000 to win for the 50 lap event.

Current Southern All Star points leader David Breazeale of Four Corners, MS., will lead the series drivers into the this weekend’s events as he took over the top spot after the fourth place finish at the Richmond Raceway in Kentucky last weekend. Current Cruise with the Champions/Dirtondirt.com rookie of the year Zach Leonhardi of Cartersville, GA., is second in points but by on two as Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, TN., is third, Billy Franklin of Alabaster, Al., is currently fourth, Andrew Littleton of Chatsworth, GA., is fifth and Mark Dodson of Caledonia, MS., is currently sixth on series points and will all be in action this weekend.
Other regional drivers expected include Casey Roberts, Tristan Sealy, Larry Harrod, J R Moseley plus many more.
