Southern All Stars Prepare for a Busy August

FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series sponsored by Max Fab is getting ready for a busy month of August as the series has three single day events in August as well as at the end of the month a doubleheader on the Gulf Coast.

The first race will be the return of the series at the Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, TN., for a 40 lap $4,000 King of the Hill, Dane Dacus of Lakeland, TN., took the win just about a month ago in the rain shortened event.

Then on Saturday night August 10th, the 2nd Annual Governors Cup at the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL., takes place with $10,000 going to the winner of the 60 lap main. Michael Page of Douglasville, GA., won the inaugural race in 2018 and Brandon Overton scored the win when the series was their earlier this year.

Then after a week break the series will do the rain out makeup of the Michael Head Jr Memorial on Saturday night August 24th at the Senoia Raceway in Senoia, GA., PAYING $5,454 to win. Michael Page is the defending race winner and also took the win in the last visit by the series.

Then Labor Day weekend the series will rerun to the Gulf Coast as it will be back at the Southern Raceway in Milton, FL., on Saturday night August 31st & Sunday September 1st for a 40 lap $4,000 to win on Saturday night and a 50 lap $5,000 to win on Sunday night.

It will begin the stretch drive to the end of the season to see who will become the 2019 Southern All Star Champion.
