Saturday, August 10th Crossroads Dragway held the third VP Fuels Fast 33 at the 330' race of the season. Tony Zeller, Crawfordsville, IN was the winner over Dustin Smith from Terre Haute, IN. Kynon Dinkel was the low qualifier for the race with a 2.85 second pass at 330'. Semi-finalists were Sam Smith from Terre Haute, IN and Ryan Wallace out of Edinburg, IN.
In Pro Class action Shawn Feece, Terre Haute, IN backed up his win from the previous week. John Croslow, Bridgeport, IL was the runner-up and Thad Mann, Terre Haute, IN was the semi-finalist.
Super Pro Class winner was Brock Smith, Carbon, IN over Jeff Lathrop from Terre Haute, IN. Semi-finalists were Ron Smith, Terre Haute, IN and Nick Wallace, Edinburg, IN.
PJ Davenport, Terre Haute, IN went to the Winner's Circle in the Sportsman Class. Jed Veach, Tuscola, IL was the runner-up and Terre Haute resident Kenny James was the semi-finalist.
The winner of the Republic Services High School/Junior Street Class was Gaige Brenton from Rosedale, IN and runner-up was Caleb Ramsey, Terre Haute, IN.
Junior Dragster Class winner was Jesse Fritts, Greenup, IL over Patrick Thompson, Danville, IL. Semi-finalists were Gus Monday, Cloverdale, IN and Brennan Thompson, Danville, IL.
Next weekend will start on Friday with Friday Fun Night and Scheid Diesel Friday race #3. Gates open at 6 p.m. On Saturday there will be ET Points racing for Pro, Super Pro, Sportsman, Republic Services High School/Junior Street and Junior Dragsters will be sponsored by Grizzly, Inc.
